Masterclass: The evolution of the project and game idea in different contexts

Rui Vitória is one of the most respected and reputed Portuguese coaches.

He started his coaching career on the bench at Vilafranquense, and continued in the Sport Lisboa e Benfica youth teams, and in the senior team at Fátima - with whom he twice went up to the Second League and eliminated FC Porto in the Portuguese Cup. He arrived in the Portuguese Premier League in 2010-2011, to lead Paços de Ferreira. With the beavers, he reached the League Cup final in 2012, beaten by Benfica.

From Paços he moved on to Vitória Sport Clube, and took Guimarães to the top with the conquest of the Portuguese Cup, in 2013, also against Benfica. An achievement that places him as Jorge Jesus' successor in the 2015-2016 season. In the next three seasons he won three Portuguese Champion titles, one Portuguese Cup, one League Cup, two Cândido de Oliveira Super Cups. He was elected Best League Coach for two consecutive seasons.

His first experience abroad couldn't have started better: champion of the Saudi Arabia Premier League, in 2018-2019, as coach of Al-Nassr. He is also the author of "The Art of War for Coaches", a practical guide on strategy and motivation in football, based on the classic "The Art of War" by Chinese general and philosopher Sun Tzu.

It is in this diversity of contexts that Rui Vitória brings to Coach ID this totally exclusive Masterclass. Three hours of content never before shared in which the trainees will:

• Understand how the game idea evolves and adapts to the specificity of each competition and cultural environment
• Look at the Game Model as the idea in interaction with the context
• Analyse the pillars of the idea and how they apply in different realities
• Know the ability to adapt the project to these same contexts and synchronize it with the evolution of the game idea itself.
